LESLIE MARGARITA

HOUSTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

There is something sacred about remembrance. A photograph lets us return to what time asks us to leave behind. The sound of her laugh. The way his hand rested on your shoulder. The faces around the table. The people who were there. The person you were. And the day you promised forever. We create photographs not simply to document what happened, but to preserve what it felt like to be there.

Your wedding day
captured as art,
remembered for
generations

The art of remembering..

Your wedding marks the beginning of something far greater than a celebration. It is a covenant. Two lives becoming one. Two families coming together. A new family beginning its story.

We believe marriage was designed by God and that the promises made on your wedding day are worthy of being remembered—not only by you, but by those who come after you.

That belief shapes the way we photograph.

We preserve the beauty, certainly. But also the people. The relationships. The hands that raised you. The prayers spoken over you. The traditions passed down to you. The quiet glances no one else noticed. The joy that could never be staged and the first moments of your life together as husband and wife.

Because the wedding lasts a day.
The covenant is for a lifetime.

Your marriage is the legacy. We preserve its beginning.

THE LEGACY

Not simply hours. Not a number of photographs. Not another vendor checked off a list.

You are entrusting someone with the responsibility of noticing.

Knowing when to direct and when to disappear. Recognizing that the woman adjusting your veil isn’t simply someone helping with a dress. She’s your mother.

That the older couple dancing across the room isn’t simply another reception photograph. They’re your grandparents.

That the portrait we’re making isn’t simply of a bride and groom. It is one of the first photographs of a husband and wife.

We understand what we’re photographing. And that understanding shapes everything.

for today, for a lifetime, for generations

What are you really investing in?

Before there was the two of you, there were the people who loved you first.

The grandmother watching from the first row. The siblings who know every version of you. The friends who became family somewhere along the way.

Your wedding gathers people who may never be together in quite the same way again.

So while beautiful portraits matter, we are always looking beyond them.

For the embrace. The tear. The hand reaching for yours. The people at the edges of the frame. The moments that may seem ordinary now but become priceless with time.

The people who are a part of your legacy.

The people you love and the moments that matter

Long before I understood legacy, I was already carrying a piece of my family’s story.

Margarita is more than my middle name—it is an heirloom. It belonged to my great-grandmother, became part of my mother’s name, and eventually became mine.

My name reminds me that the most meaningful things we inherit aren’t bought—they are names, stories, traditions, photographs, and pieces of family history passed from one generation to the next.

Perhaps that is why I see wedding photography the same way. I am not simply creating photographs for today, but preserving the beginning of a marriage for the generations who will come after you.

Margarita is an heirloom I was given. Photography is how I help preserve yours.
